Commission calculator for flat and tiered plans

For a flat plan, multiply the sales amount by the commission rate: ₹5,00,000 of sales at 8% pays ₹40,000. For a tiered plan, the answer depends on how the tiers apply, which is what the Tier method switch controls.

Graduated (also called marginal or stepped) pays each slice of sales at its own tier's rate, like income tax brackets. Retroactive pays the whole amount at the rate of the highest tier reached, so crossing a threshold lifts the rate on every sale in the period. Retroactive plans pay more above each threshold and create a sharp jump at it.

The commission is calculated on the full sales amount first. Your share then applies to that commission, for example 50% when a deal is split with a co-seller or a brokerage. Base salary is added on top to give total earnings for the period.
